About Inverters & Batteries
Types of  INVERTERS

Square Wave
Are inverters with square-wave output form, usually has a humming noise in the Fans, and lights. They do the equivalent job of giving
electricity for your lighting. There are also modified square wave inverters which reduces the harmonics to some extent giving you
pure power.

Sine Wave
Sine Wave inverters have a wave form which produces sine wave and removes all the harmonics in the output.

Selecting an Inverter
To select  your inverter following are the guidelines,
1) Define the capacity of load you want to run, for example the number of lights which you would like to have on inverter and fans,
Television ETC..
2) The total number of lights and fans will determine the wattage of the inverter.
3) Please refer following table for the details

4) Selecting battery :- Select the battery according to the number of hours you want to run your equipments
Simple formula which works for us is
Total load                              / 0.9 Power factor = Amperes per hour
Number of batteries x 10.5
Say we have a total load of
500 watts / 1 x10.5 /.9 = 52 amperes / hour  (So 50 AH battery will run the load for 1 Hour and 100 AH for 2 Hours
Approximately.)
5) The most important of all is the wiring to be done, It is important to segregate the total load and use only selected lights and fans
or Electrical points for the better functioning of the inverter.
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT SELECTED LOAD SHOULD NOT
EXCEED THE CAPACITY OF THE INVERTER.
6) Maintenance of the inverter and battery with proper dealer is must for better life of the Inverter and battery. Battery
faults are only detected by the professionals get it checked before it expires the warranty period.
